In-Home Cooking Lessons

Through in-home cooking lessons, you will learn how to cook the foods you love to eat in the comfort of your own kitchen.  Classes are approximately 2 ½ hours and are centered around the preparation of a complete meal.

“IS MY KITCHEN BIG ENOUGH?”

As long as you can put a cutting board down in the kitchen or dining area, you can comfortably learn to cook in your own home kitchen.

I can accommodate the most difficult of schedules! After work and weekend classes are available.

GROCERIES

You will be sent a detailed shopping list prior to class so you can have the necessary groceries on hand. 

PRICING

Your in-home cooking lesson will cost $110.   

 

To make sure that you have are the best experience possible, here is what you can expect and how to prepare for your in-home class:

  • First you have to choose a date, time, and menu.  If there is something specific you have in mind, but don't see it- please ask.  Menu Link
  • Each class is about 2 ½ hours and when we're all done, you can enjoy the fruits of your labor.  
  • About one week before the class, I will email a detailed shopping list so you can have everything ready. There will also be a basic list of cooking equipment that will be needed, but we can always improvise if you do not have exactly what is listed.  Please  be sure to let me know in advance so I can be prepared.  At this point, all payments must be settled.
  • The day before your scheduled class, I will confirm the time and menu via direct phone call. If there's some ingredient you cannot find, I'll do my best to attain it.
  • With regards to grocery shopping, please plan ahead.  I recommend shopping ahead of time, as opposed to the day of the class so there is no unnecessary stress- just kitchen fun! 
  • Please make sure your kitchen is clean before the start of class. Also, I employ a clean as you go method to avoid a sink full of dishes in the end. Less any dishes you’ll be eating from and any food vessels with leftovers, I will make sure that all equipment used during the class is cleaned before I leave.
  • Gratuity: It is always appreciated if you have had an excellent experience.
